Va Va Vera !
We love Vera Cardoso, our August calendar star, but then who wouldn’t? The 24 year old from Lisbon, Portugal, is not only a top-notch member of Ryanair’s cabin crew, but also a dab hand at guiding in jet planes for a comfy, safe landing – while looking absolutely incredible! Being Portuguese makes Vera a lover of the sun and sea, so it wasn’t hard to persuade her to don her bikini for the charity calendar. She tells us her favourite holiday food is prawns, “because they’re tasty and go well with any salad”. Her maddest flight experience was chaperoning 80 very loud children from Paris to Girona. But then “standing in a plane 11km above the ground is always strange”. Vera also divulges that her favourite beach destination is at Odeceixe in the Algarve.
