T-Mobile G1
There’s been much excitement in the phone world, with Google’s launch of the first phone to carry its very own operating system, the wonderfully titled Android. Easy to customise, the phone allows you to add your favourite features to the display, like Facebook, GPS or Pacman. There’s also fast access to the web, a touchscreen and a full QWERTY keyboard.

Gamucci Cigar
This fake cigar promises to get you through the smoking ban, since it’s completely legal. There’s no flame or smoke, just water vapour and nicotine. Each one will last you more than 600 puffs, and just in case it looks too realistic the manufacturers have made the end glow a bizarre green each time you inhale.

iPod Nano
Boasting an eye-popping nine different colours to choose from, the iPod Nano is good news for movie addicts, thanks to its landscape-friendly screen. Additional features include Shake to Shuffle, enabling you to move between tracks with just a flick of your wrist, and the Genius feature that automatically creates playlists of similar music for you on the go.
16GB, €199, WWW.APPLE.COM
MP4 watch
In true James Bond style, this watch does more than just tell the time. With a 2GB memory, headphones and 1.8-inch screen you can watch movies (albeit with significant strain to your eyes), or use the e-book reader, photo viewer and voice recorder.
