BlackBerry Bold
The first thing you notice on picking up this latest BlackBerry phone is its large, super-bright screen – but under the hood there are some great features, too. You can connect to the internet on the go thanks to HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access), or in a hotspot through WiFi. There’s also GPS for wayfinding and, being a BlackBerry, emailing is a breeze.

Sony Cyber-shot T700
Running out of memory is unlikely to be a problem with this camera, which comes with a mammoth 4GB of storage built-in. It’s also easier to use than many other cameras on the market, thanks to the simple 3.5-inch touchscreen. Picture-wise, there’s 10 megapixels and a 4x optical zoom to ensure detailed snaps.

Speedo Aquabeat waterproof MP3 player
Waterproof casing for your MP3 player can be a hit and miss affair, with drastic results if it all goes wrong. This player has been designed specifically to be used when swimming, so everything from the player to the headphones are waterproof up to about 3m – the player will even float to the top if it’s dropped in water. There’s room for about 250–500 songs, which should easily last you until the end of your swimming session.

Philips Breeze
Bluetooth headsets used to be just plain and ordinary looking, yet this sparkly design means they won’t just be worn by business people and cab drivers. Decorated with Swarovski crystals, this one can also be worn as a pendant when not in use.
