Somewhere incredible we love from across the Ryanair network
You can always count on Pritzker Prize-winning architect Zaha Hadid’s projects to look like they’ve been beamed in from the future, and in the case of the brand new MAXXI (a clever shortening of the National Museum of XXI Century Arts) that’s exactly how it should be. A celebration of contemporary culture, the museum will house two bodies — one dedicated to art, and the other to architecture.
Its grand opening is scheduled for spring 2010, but head there before 10 January to see a specially designed light installation by German artist Tobias Rehberger, which interacts with the buliding’s fluid and dynamic form.
