Holy Cow
Photographer Andrew Farrar unleashes his latest exhibition in London, Holy Cow.
Photographer Andrew Farrar has a pretty brilliant view of the world and if you're in London at the end of the November you can see what I am talking about at his latest show entitled Holy Cow in the Crypt of St. Andrew's Church in Holborn.
Of this exhibition Andrew says:
"Western perception of Indian mythology as a plethora of colour and fantasy is accentuated and romanticised by the images that are adopted by our media and popular culture. With that in mind I went to India to see what effects Western culture, fashion and film had on key characters i encountered and cast for the project."
I got a sneak preview and i can tell you it's well worth checking out if you love photography and you love India. ANdrew's images are just brilliant, conceptually and technically, and the church crypt they come alive. Do it! Feel the mysticism.
Andrew Farrar's Holy Cow is at the Crypt of St. Andrew's Church, St Andrew's Street, Holborn, London EC4A 3AB from 26 November to 2 December 2009, 11am - 8pm
