Luminaries from Puccini to Nietzsche have patronised this nearly 250-yearold café, where the city's signature “bicerin” was created. The chocolate, espresso and whipped cream drink served in a tall glass is popular for breakfast, and is still made from the original secret recipe. Try with a slice of hazelnut cake in hot chocolate sauce.
