Take a peek around this ancient underground burial site that lies just to the south-east of the city. It belonged to the Etruscan Velimna family from around 200BC, and contains marble sculptures, funeral urns, and reliefs hewn from stone.

THE EYES OF CARAVAGGIO
Artists that would have influenced the young Caravaggio, the rebel 17th-century painter, are brought together in this exhibition of 50 works at the Museo Diocesano. See the likes of Venetian master Tintoretto alongside early pieces by the man himself. Until 3 July.
