KILMAINHAM GAOL HISTORICAL MUSEUM

Ireland's very own Alcatraz, from 1796 to 1924 Kilmainham Gaol (pictured) was the final stop for many an Irish rebel. Take the guided tour, which finishes at the stonebreakers yard in which Patrick Pearse and James Connolly were executed in 1916.
