HORSESHOE BAR
The Shelbourne Hotel's opulent bar has been a Dublin drinking institution for generations. The Chieftains, one of Ireland's favourite traditional groups, were formed in the Horseshoe, but nowadays it mainly attracts a mix of besuited locals, politicians and well-heeled eccentrics.
