Kale and Pinkel
Bremen's regional delicacy, favoured by former chancellor Helmut Kohl, is the haggis of Germany. Pinkel is a traditional cut of pig's intestine stuffed with oatmeal, served in sausage form with a side of kale. You'll find it on menus throughout the city. Try it at restaurants such as Ständige Vertretung on Böttcherstrasse.
